Very pleased that the debut album ‘Inver’ by atmospheric-folk trio HAV has been released on Folkwit Records. It’s been three years in the making so it’s great that it’s finally seeing the light!
It’s had some great reviews so far including: ‘(a) profoundly moving and expressive album that is the perfect antidote to quick fixes and empty gestures’ (FRUK); ‘mellifluous, immersive and gentle’(NARC); ‘beautiful‘ (The Crack) & a five star review from Rock ‘n’ Reel who say “Inver might just be the most inspired folk offering you’ll hear in the next twelve months”.
Check it out here or on Spotify and let us know what you think!
This new video by Harry Bird and the Rubber Wellies has just been put out ahead of the forthcoming third studio album “Bricks and Feathers’ which is released on May 1st 2105. You can pre-order the album from April 1st from their label website (Hot Drop Records). In the meantime this video gives you a little taste of some of the new material. Bit reggae this one 🙂
I’m looking forward to dusting down the Uke-bass and joining the lads on tour in May / Jun this year. Nothing beats touring with a U-bass I can tell you. Come say hello if you manage to get along to a gig!
I’ve been really enjoying playing my Uke-bass on tour with Harry Bird and the Rubber Wellies this year. Portable, light, fun and sounds great! Highly recommended if you want an upright sound with none of the hassle! Here’s a cheeky live video that appeared last week from one of our Irish gigs in May. Enjoy!
