Finally I’ve finished the Blues transcription book that I
have been working upon. I’ve posted it up under the ‘publications’ subheading on the right hand side. It’s got some great Blues basslines in it so take a look! I’m embarking upon a funk bass one now. 🙂
Just posted up this new transcription – Dig a Pony by The Beatles. Many thanks to William from Talkbass who transcribed it.
Great tune. Enjoy 🙂
The new Claypath album ‘III’ is now available on iTunes. Just stick ‘Claypath’ into the search engine. In the meantime have a browse on my music page (see tab at side) for a taste of one of the songs from the album. Enjoy.
Another slice of funky Meters goodness for y’all. Enjoy 🙂
So it’s been a while since I’ve posted any new transcriptions up – it’s been all hands to the pump to try to get the Blues transcription book finished. So here is a little slice of funky Meters goodness to keep you all going. More to follow in this vein. Enjoy.
In other news the Pimptones ‘Midnight Feast of Jazz’ album is nearing completion, the new Sharks Took the Rest EP (“Grounds for Hearts to Swell’) is finished and awaiting art work and printing and finally the new Claypath album (‘iii’) is avaliable to buy on CD Baby and soon iTunes. Check them out – three great bands which it is a total pleasure to play bass for.
It’s been a busy summer! 🙂
